Known as the blue city, Jodhpur is famous for its Royal Mehrangarh Fort, temples, blue painted houses sweets and yummy snacks. Apart from well-known fort, Jodhpur is popular among tourists for its lake and beautiful shopping streets that look like a mirage from a bypast era. Mehrangarh Fort-: Built by Rao Jodha in 1459, Jodhpur is holding the pride of one of the largest forts in India. Situated on the elevation of 410 feet, the fort is guarded by high walls and pillars. Approx 5 kms of area has been covered on the hill by this amazing fort.

Jaswant Tada: Built in all white marble, Jaswant Tada is a royal cenotaph in Jodhpur. A pond is also there in Cenotaph and a garden is next to it. A few minutes walk downhill takes you to this royal structure so there is no need to take a ride to reach there.

Balsamand Lake: Located about 5 kms from city, Balsamand lake is a perfect human effort. Maharaja Sur Singh was the founder of this artificial lake and a glorious title of Sawai Raja was given to him in return for his impeccable services. Large variety of flora and fauna can be seen around this lake.
